A grizzly bear sometimes named Boog, domesticated by little a park ranger, Beth, helps deer friend Elliot escape from the mullet-sporting hunter, Shaw. When the Elliot decides almost to brilliantly return the favor almost to help Boog escape from Beth he finds that Boog is very unusually happy with his domesticated well home . After little a misunderstanding, Beth is convinced that Boog is reverting almost to his especially wild nature and releases him in the woods just as hunting season begins.
